Drive automatic garage doors

For all types of garage doors are technical solutions to help drive their electric motors. The electric motor itself, in order to work properly, is part of a more complex system called automatic or, more simply, automation. Automatic operation, depending on the type of garage door and user needs, includes: a cap of the race, a different interface for control and safety systems and control.
Stroke limitation system is designed to control the electric motor off right where the garage door reaches the open and close limits. Technical solutions most common are mechanical stroke limiter (when the door reaches the end of a track race contact the motions that control the engine off) or electromagnetic (control unit stores with an electromagnet number of revolutions the engine makes it to reach the end of the race).
Interface or control panel has various configurations to meet different user needs. The system is simple with buttons or, for security needs, with selector (switch) key. The most common and easy operation, especially for residential garage doors is controlled. Less common, especially in industrial applications are radar detectors (any movement in the opening drive control radar) mass detectors metal (detects only cars), access control systems (user uses an access card) or more recently, GSM interface (control garage door is made from a mobile phone).
Safety and control systems are very different. Some of the most used are:
Closing delay - the door is opened by any but the lock control system is programmed to turn itself off after a period of time chosen by the user.
Overload protection - electronic unit "reads" the motor power consumption so that if a meeting obsatcol the path of the door, it will stop.
Stop and Start slow - the engine is controlled by the central unit to slow speed operation when the garage door reaches the end of the race.
Photocells - safety is a system consisting of a pair of cells located in the infrared passing cars. Interruption of the connection between the two cells that communicate CPU machine, other objects or persons are in the path of the garage door and drive it off the motor command.
Safety edge (safety edge) - weatherstrip on the bottom of garage doors incorporates a system that detects when, during closing garage door touches any object or person. The principle of operation can be also infrared, as photocells, or pressure hose.
