Automation gates importance,Automatic doors importance articles

Gate automation plays an important role in a high traffic volume system such as a warehouse. Logistics management requires the constant inflow and outflow of the containers at the fastest rate possible. Equipped with a good gate automation system, the traffic rate can be optimised to the maximum extent possible. Manual gate operation results in direct and heavy loss for the business.

Automated gates are very important for any system which faces a large volume of traffic. Manual operations in such, lead to a high level of inefficiency. Gate automation is a burgeoning field which has a lot of promise owing to the rise in the logistics systems which require fast response times. Today, gate automation combines the traditional mechanical engineering with electrical, electronics and telecommunication devices.

Another example is the use of gate automation in railway level crosses. In busy level crosses, it is very important to speed up the gate operation to provide optimum comfort to the commuters. An automated gate equipped with a wireless transmitter can greatly reduce the time required for the gate operation.

Gate automation can even be used for non business functions. In large estates, it is very difficult to employ a gate keeper for the gate operations all through the season. With the use of automated gates, the dual purpose of security as well as gate operations are served.

Secrets behind an automation for gates

Secrets behind an automation for gatesI'm sure every time you went into a supermarket you wondered how to open doors when a person is in front of them? Maybe some of you have gone even further and have thought how could it to install such a system at home or at work? Now all these questions and have found an answer ... Next I will present the technology behind these gates automation. For starters I would like to establish a few basics. There are two types of gate automation: systems for sliding doors from the garage to the elevator, etc and swing door systems. Now we will deal with systems for sliding doors, so that in future you out the others.Suppose you have already installed a sliding door. Automation begins with an opening to mount an automatic mechanism that can interpret the message came from external stimuli. How this mechanism can be triggered? It's easy and you have even more options. You can use:- Proximity sensor (like those in supermarkets)- A button that you press when you want to open the gate or door- A control system with a card access of the- Automatically (for lifts)You've probably noticed that such a gate automation system allows automatic reopening when gate meets an obstacle. This is possible because of safety sensors. The purpose of these sensors is primarily to prevent the gate closing when a person is in their range of action. Such a system can be constructed by generating a laser signal between gate and pillars. If this signal is interrupted when the gate no longer closes. Now that we know something about the ways we may perform a gate automation to move on, namely the technology behind these systems.Opening mechanism is placed in the space above the door or gate. An engine that runs in a lower gear to have a small but speed and higher torque, drives a pulley mounted at one end of a belt. Gate is caught by the belt clip. To open the gate or door, rotate the engine pulley belt acting as lead gate movement. To close the gate, the system rotates clockwise. It is, in short, secret behind tutor automated gates and doors. There is nothing magical, just a little science.

Maintenance of sectional garage doors

Maintenance of garage doors

In the same way that a garage door has an aesthetic role it must be functional and safe. Any garage door has a considerable weight from 15-20 kg for a single door, insulated, up to 70-80 kg for normal sectional door or up to 400-450 kg for large industrial doors. Regardless of the drive spring or running, manual or electric, it is very important that your garage door to work every time without problems and with maximum safety. With many mechanical parts in operation, some of them bearing large loads is inevitable wear over time. Therefore, the only way to safe operation and extended use as is their regular checking and maintenance. Verification must be made annually from the first year recommended use and absolutely necessary after the approximate life of the product, depending on door type and frequency of use it is 5, 7 or 10 years.
As for installation, maintenance must be performed by experienced personnel. And it is recommended that the user can make an external inspection, visual garage door, but any intervention sliding systems should be left to specialists.
Here are some of the problems that can be seen wearing a verification service team.
Sectional garage doors

Creased or misplaced roller hinges - door no longer closes properly or sliding weight.

Weight counterbalance springs broken - drive the manual version is slightly more noticeable because the door is heavy but electric drive motor version can offset the additional weight, the door will work, which will lead to premature engine wear.

Springs to counterbalance weight relaxed - while the steel they are made of springs is "weakening" and no longer supports the entire weight of the door and it tends to fall.

Cables support panels are "pinched" - due to friction with other components of the door or some external actions cables are broken filaments.

Support cables are broken - Garage door stopped working.

Designing optimal size for garage door

Designing optimal size for garage door

Because it is a special door in comparison with pedestrian access doors or windows that you install in a home garage door needs some technical installation spaces.
First is instalaeaza sectional garage door in most sity in the inner face of the goal and not between sills input, such as the installation of joinery. Thus, the outer gauge entire garage door system is larger than input gap coverage and you will need that extra space inside the garage. To be able to appreciate the space covering garage door needs inside the garage you can calculate how many 150 mm on each side, 350 mm in the superior part ("the beam") and 1000 mm extra in the back. If you are still in the design phase of the garage is well to consider these figures to establish quotas construction. If you already have high construction but these rates were not kept not mean you should give up fitting a garage door because there are different technical solutions, such as a roller garage door.
Gap width and thus entry and garage door must be calculated first according to the number of machines - single or double garage - and depending on the possibility of access. Thus, if the garage entrance is from the side entrance opening width should be higher and if you have doubts about the input space to maneuver is best to do a simulation with the type of car that you will use. In practice, there are few situations when you are browsing or using garage big compromise because they did not correctly calculate the required fields.
Since the garage door is mounted on the inside face of the opening of the garage entrance usable depth must be calculated at the rate positioning of the door. For use as easy to be added to total depth and space to open the trunk and access it.
General recommendation remains that when projecting a garage or a garage door to always ask the opinion of a specialist garage doors can offer the best technical solution according to user needs but also your budget.

Why do we need your garage door automation?

Daily comfort is an essential element of our lives. Sometimes we are put in a position to make great efforts to obtain and sometimes we get it is at hand. As drivers, the benefits of automatic gates will help increase personal comfort.

Automating garage doors ease access, eliminating any effort that would have been made if the gates should be operated. With automation process automation swing gates or sliding gates, any car parking will be a pleasure.

When your garage doors benefit from automation systems, you will receive the best solution for personal safety and comfort. Also, you will not need to worry any concern regarding weather conditions. You do not have to step out of the car doors to act as a remote control push button will do all the work.

Regarding installation of gate automation systems, this is done in a very simple way, whether you are old or new doors. If you think you have to change the port to take advantage of such a system, you should know that is not the case. Your gateway can be upgraded and the investment will be a smaller one.

Try very well informed before purchasing products and services, selecting the best offers on the market with the best quality price.

Worth to buy a cheap garage door?

Garage door market worldwide in recent years has been invaded by poor quality products sold as "best".

Various garage doors are sold as leaders.

Our mistake is that we inquire before buying.

The client needs to know what they buy, and for this you must know what to ask.

So back to the title, it's worth buying a cheap garage door?

My answer you will find in the following lines.

1. A garage door can be expensive because the manufacturing process is rudimentary materials used are of poor quality, not technical conditions for prolonged use are not equipped with safety systems required for the safe and without risk to the user (finger trap protection, protection against breakage spring and fall door trap protection side).

It is therefore important that when you decide to purchase a garage door dealer to ask about these things and be careful not to be deceived.

These doors do not provide reliability, representing a danger to your family and your car.

2. A quality garage door may be cheap, but only if they are offered promotional discounts.

No need to compare quality garage door with a promotional price with low quality garage door and unsafe in operation.

3. When you want to make a price comparison must refer to the same level of quality products and technical.

You can not compare garage doors carried "on his knees" with garage doors manufactured in modern factories.

Firms producing garage doors which comply invest large sums of money in testing before the product is released.

Poor quality garage doors are seen in various sketches produced by other manufacturers technical manuals, trying to imitate them.

Drive automatic garage doors, components mounting details

Drive automatic garage doors

For all types of garage doors are technical solutions to help drive their electric motors. The electric motor itself, in order to work properly, is part of a more complex system called automatic or, more simply, automation. Automatic operation, depending on the type of garage door and user needs, includes: a cap of the race, a different interface for control and safety systems and control.
Stroke limitation system is designed to control the electric motor off right where the garage door reaches the open and close limits. Technical solutions most common are mechanical stroke limiter (when the door reaches the end of a track race contact the motions that control the engine off) or electromagnetic (control unit stores with an electromagnet number of revolutions the engine makes it to reach the end of the race).
Interface or control panel has various configurations to meet different user needs. The system is simple with buttons or, for security needs, with selector (switch) key. The most common and easy operation, especially for residential garage doors is controlled. Less common, especially in industrial applications are radar detectors (any movement in the opening drive control radar) mass detectors metal (detects only cars), access control systems (user uses an access card) or more recently, GSM interface (control garage door is made from a mobile phone).
Safety and control systems are very different. Some of the most used are:
Closing delay - the door is opened by any but the lock control system is programmed to turn itself off after a period of time chosen by the user.
Overload protection - electronic unit "reads" the motor power consumption so that if a meeting obsatcol the path of the door, it will stop.
Stop and Start slow - the engine is controlled by the central unit to slow speed operation when the garage door reaches the end of the race.
Photocells - safety is a system consisting of a pair of cells located in the infrared passing cars. Interruption of the connection between the two cells that communicate CPU machine, other objects or persons are in the path of the garage door and drive it off the motor command.
Safety edge (safety edge) - weatherstrip on the bottom of garage doors incorporates a system that detects when, during closing garage door touches any object or person. The principle of operation can be also infrared, as photocells, or pressure hose.
